Promoting small business ownership and self-employment to create jobs, grow the economy and improve labour outcomes, across the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Yorke Peninsula, and the Mid North in South Australia.
Helping people to start successful businesses. This new, flexible self-employment program will allow Australians to access tailored support to start and run viable small businesses.
Working with unemployed people and job seekers; those who are under-employed and seeking a side hustle; owners of existing micro-businesses; Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people, refugees, people with disability, and Indigenous Australians.
The program is open to people who are unemployed, under-employed and owners of existing micro-businesses (with up to 4 employees) who need support for the business to be commercially viable.
Sea to Valley Startups delivers services that:
- increase awareness of opportunities for self-employment by promoting small business ownership as a path to financial independence
- achieve labour market outcomes by supporting unemployed and under-employed Australians to become self-employed business owners
- help existing micro-business owners improve your viability by delivering services that maximise the likelihood that your businesses will operate commercially.
