Tathra Homestead revolves around an olive grove, vegetable garden and our ladies, the free-range chickens. We have reintroduced both plant and animal biodiversity to the property over more than 25 years and have implemented chemical-free production throughout the property.
We produce extra virgin olive oil, artisan food products, fresh vegetables and herbs and free range eggs.
Tathra Homestead is the business, passion and lifestyle of the Darmody family. Three generations of the family are involved in all aspects of the business: from picking olives to collecting eggs, labelling dukkah to hunting for the finest tomatoes. We love our life on the western side of the Barossa Valley in our own slice of paradise.
The founding generation are Kim, Joy and Craig, second generation are Jess, Rooey and Thomas and the third generation are Taylor and Jack.
